Cocktails
Matcha Sake Bomb
$5This is not your average sake bomb. A shot of matcha infused sake balanced on top of a cold glass of beer. You drop the whole thing in and chug it. Crisp, grassy, slightly creamy, and just chaotic enough to be fun. Green tea never hit this hard.
Scarlet Negroni
$20A Japanese riff on the Negroni that does not play by the rules. Equal parts Scarlet Bitter Liqueur, shiso umeshu, and Mala Santa espadin salmiana mezcal. Floral, smoky and bittersweet all at once. Stirred gently over ice, finished with orange zest. Scarlet is small batch and hard to get hold of, so this one comes the way it comes. No modifications, no freebies, no regrets.
The 212
$16The "(212)" is home to us and while we always like to keep things "traditional" to our roots we also love to support locals and when we find someone who is local, makes a great product, and is super passionate about making said product, we are super proud to showcase it on our menu. A spicy, citrusy stunner that hits like a downtown handshake. We start with Barrow’s Intense Ginger Liqueur, made from cold-pressed fresh ginger for maximum fire, and pair it with Hokuto Gin, a Japanese spirit infused with pear and sansho pepper. Shaken hard with our house yuzu slushy, this cocktail brings the heat, the zing, and a whole lot of zip. Bright. Spicy. Unapologetically bold.
MatchaRita
$16Our fan-favorite Japanese take on a margarita. It starts with our house tequila, a healthy pour of our housemade yuzu slushy, and a splash of earthy matcha syrup, all tied together with a wasabi salt rim for that extra kick. Bright, tangy, and just the right amount of green tea bitterness, it's refreshing, bold, and dangerously easy to drink. No wonder it's one of our most popular.
Megumi’s Gin & Tonic
$16House-made tonic with five Japanese citruses from Kankitsu Labo (Amanatsu, Iyokan, Kawachi Bankan, Setouchi Lemon, Yuzu), sansho, and select spices, paired with Japanese gin.
Hidari Chichi
$16Named for @hot4chichi, who is half Japanese, a fixture around here, and the most glitter I have ever seen on one person. Lychee liqueur, elderflower, Takara shochu and Mio sparkling sake, with edible pink glitter and a dried rosebud on top. It comes in a flute. It is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds, and people keep ordering it.
Migi Chichi
$16The other twin, built the way Chichi actually drinks: strong, but nothing that burns on the way down. Five year aged Mito no Kairakuen umeshu, a little yuzu, a little elderflower, and Okinawan awamori underneath it all. Smooth and fruity enough that you will not notice the awamori until later.
Plum Syndicate
$18Syndicate NY Bourbon, 5-Year Aged Umeshu, Red Shiso & Yuzu. A refreshing blend of bourbon, Japanese plum, and citrus.
Red Dragon Juice
$16Sweet, fizzy, and far too easy to drink. Akakirishima shochu, yuzu slushy and cranberry, topped with Mio sparkling sake and a grapefruit twist. Light and fruity with just enough behind it.
Japanese Mega Chuhai
Chuhai, made here rather than poured out of a can. Shochu with a mixer, light and crisp. Three to choose from.
Choice of- Mega Yuzu Chuhai$16
- Mega Grapefruit Chuhai$16
- Mega Oolong Chuhai$16
Katana Shots

Choice of- 2 People$10
- 3 People$14
- 4 People$18
Yoshi's Saketini
$16Made with Cucumber vodka, sake, and Japanese bermuto and umami bitters for a crisp, clean martini with a deep umami.
Boozy Yuzu Slushy
Our oldest drink and still one of the most ordered. It began as the Tokyo Lemonade in our early years, and at some point we froze it. House-made shiso syrup built on Japanese sugar, fresh yuzu juice and lemon juice. Have it with no alcohol at all, or pick a spirit. Shochu is clean and dangerously easy. Gin is bright and citrus forward. Tequila and yuzu are a natural match. Rum makes it tropical. Be careful with the shochu one. You will not taste it, but you will feel it.
Choice of- Shochu$15
- Tequila$18
- Ohoro Gin$18
- Rum$18
- Vodka$18
Whisky Highball
A Japanese classic. We start with our house build, then you pick the whisky. Suntory Toki is clean and endlessly drinkable. Yame 10 Year with matcha goes earthy, with a bit of green tea behind it. Yamazaki 12 Year is the luxurious one. Light, refreshing, and simpler than it looks.
Choice of- Suntory$16
- Matcha$18
- Yamazaki$25

XYAUYÙ Fume 2016 2oz pour
$15One of the Baladin jewels, enriched by the aging in the barrels of peated whiskies. Dark ruby red color, clear, flat and with no head. Its peaty scents and malty notes - typical of whisky - are well balanced on a strong and warm body, which opens to caramel notes in the finish.
XYAUYÙ KIOKE 2oz pour
$15Brewery: Baladin Indipendente Italian Farm Brewery Country: Italy Style: Barley Wine ABV: 14% Volume: 500ml Xyauyù Kioke combines two great craft traditions in the world of fermentation: the art of beer making meets the art of producing craft soy sauce. The Kioke is an open cypress wooden barrel produced by Yasuo Yamamoto (Yamaroku Shoyu) in Japan, on the island of Shodo, and is used for the fermentation of soy sauce. Xyauyù was created in Piozzo, Italy, at the Baladin farm brewery, from Teo Musso’s desire to explore the universe of oxidation. The beer, once fermented and aged for 18 months, is open-air matured inside a new Kioke barrel, i.e. which has never been used for the fermentation of soy. The barrel gives resinous cypress notes and a slightly acidic touch, for a unique aromatic profile.

Tomoe translates to “comma”, and is a comma-like swirl shape on Japanese family crests, a pattern that she wore on her samurai shoulder pads. Gozen is an ancient title given to women of honor.
