Ramune (pronounced "RAH-moo-nay") originated in Yokohama in 1876, when a British pharmacist named Alexander Cameron Sim introduced it as a carbonated lemonade. The name "Ramune" is a Japanese adaptation of the English word "lemonade."
It was first sold as a health tonic said to aid digestion and prevent cholera. Over time, it became a popular refreshment, especially during the hot and humid Japanese summers.

Codd-neck Bottle: Ramune is famous for its unique glass bottle sealed with a marble. The carbonation pressure holds the marble in place until it’s popped down into the bottle with the included plunger. The marble then rattles around as you drink—a signature part of the Ramune experience!

ラムネの起源
ラムネは1876年、横浜でイギリス人薬剤師アレクサンダー・キャメロン・シムによって初めて日本に紹介されました。
もともとは**「レモネード」の音をもとに「ラムネ」と呼ばれ、当初はコレラ予防や消化促進**の効果がある健康飲料として販売されていました。
